Toyapakeh and Banjar Nyuh sit right next to each other on the island's north coast and take most of the speedboat traffic from Bali. Buyuk is a separate, smaller port on the northeast coast, next to Sampalan and roughly 7km away, not a short walk from Toyapakeh despite sometimes being listed alongside it. The first boat usually leaves Sanur around 07:30 and the last around 15:30. Individual operators run their own timings and these shift with season and demand, so confirm the exact departure for your date before planning around it.

Plenty of people do, and the crossing is short enough to make it work. The part that catches people out is the return, not the outbound. Book the return leg when you book the outbound, and do not take the last sailing of the day if you have a flight or a long drive waiting.
